This documentation provides step-by-step information on installing MongoRepository using NuGet.

First things first

Install NuGet if you're not already using it
  1. Go to http://nuget.org/ and click the Install NuGet (alternatively; use this link and click Download).
  2. Follow instructions

Install using Package Manager

  1. Make sure your project is saved
  2. In Visual Studio 2010 click the Project menu and select Manage NuGet Packages
  3. Make sure the left-pane has "Online >> All" selected
  4. In the top-right corner, search for "MongoRepository"
  5. Select MongoRepository (Not to be confused with, unrelated, ProMongoRepository!) and click Install
  6. NuGet will download MongoRepository and it's dependencies (fluent-mongo and 10gen's MongoDb driver). You might need to accept some eula's.
  7. Done! That was easy, wasn't it?

Install using the Package Manager Console

  1. Make sure your project is saved
  2. In Visual Studio 2010 open the Package Manager Console if it's not open yet (Menu Tools >> Library Package Manager >> Package Manager Console)
  3. In the console type: Install-Package MongoRepository
  4. NuGet will download MongoRepository and it's dependencies (fluent-mongo and 10gen's MongoDb driver).
  5. Done! That was easy, wasn't it?
